Royal Madikwe welcomes families with children of all ages. Children are stimulated, educated and entertained by their bush surroundings with fun activities to ensure they get the most out of their wilderness adventure.
Royal Madikwe’ s tailor made program for children offers a unique interlude between morning and evening game drives with storytelling, educational books, and a range of edu-training games and DVDs that can be watched in the lounge.
Children over the age of 5 years are welcome to join their parents on the scheduled game drives. We offer daily bush bumbles for younger children, which are designed to suit all interests with tolerant rangers assessing and evaluating which sightings your children would enjoy most.
Children receive a wonderful Royal Madikwe back pack filled with all sorts of goodies to take with on the bush bumbles and to prepare them for the fun activities. Each day is a new adventure with a variety of fun activities available every day between 12h00 and 13h00!
Safaris at Royal Madikwe are all about having fun while you learn about the amazing animals and the very special environment that surrounds you!
